Project Lead

Location:
The job will start in the Oakville office and transition to the field at Darlington Nuclear This will be primarily to support the ACU coil replacement project at Darlington. Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of the project, including design schedule tracking and integration between disciplines Manage project revenue, costs, cash flow, and job cost tracking/forecasting Lead project engineering on moderately complex projects, including temporary engineering requirements Manage permanent design, quality control, and overall design coordination Administer and manage contracts and subcontracts, including responsibility for design subcontracts Assist in operations and production planning Train and support field and office engineers in accurate submittals, RFIs, and project documentation Develop and implement project control plans Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle Manage project closeout activities May manage and mentor other Project Engineers Ability to travel Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience 5+ years’ work experience in construction Experience managing engineers Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail. #Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
