Estimator (Bridge and Infrastructure) - Vancouver, BC

Our client, a leading construction company based in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a talented Estimator to join their team. Position: Estimator (Bridge and Infrastructure) Location: North Vancouver, BC Company: Leading Construction Firm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for bridge and infrastructure construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating.
  • Evaluate materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to develop detailed and competitive bids.
  • Present estimates to management and participate in bid review meetings.
  • Track project costs and provide ongoing support to project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in bridge and infrastructure construction.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
