We are looking for a content specialist to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content that compels shoppers with engaging narratives. If you geek out on digging into emerging technical requirements that drive success across platforms—why not hit us up? We’re looking for someone both comprehensive and detail oriented.

The work designation for this role will be Hybrid and tied to our Marks Toronto studio.

What You Will Be Doing

For Our Clients

  • Create high-quality, optimized content, and revise existing content based on SEO-based insights for eComm product pages or online storefronts (DTC and retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.) Asks sound like:
    • “Assess our SEO and copy strategies across key eRetailers”
    • “Create optimized content for multiple product pages at scale”
    • “Help us understand how to implement multiple retailer-specific SEO tactics across various tiers of products within our portfolio”
    • “Show us how you’d respond to KPI’s across platforms.”
  • Develop a process for researching keywords and writing content for multiple product pages across complex brand portfolios.
  • Research keywords, competitor content and industry trends to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  • Monitor, measure, report and optimize keywords on an ongoing basis for client product pages.

For Our Agency

  • Help develop processes to elevate our approach to eComm, and SEO broadly.
  • Partner with account teams to help support growth.

Key Qualities

  • Highly collaborative and accountable
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Detail oriented and technically proficient
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows across timelines
  • 'Roll-up-your-sleeves and do’ mindset

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in the industry; some agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design or other related field
  • Experience with a range of categories including CPG, food/beverage/wine/spirits, technology, toy and gaming preferred
  • Familiarity and proficiency with SEO research tools
Qualifications Education Required

Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.

Experience Required 3-5 years:

3-5 years: Years of experience in the industry; some agency experience

Familiarity and proficiency with SEO research tools

Preferred

Experience with a range of categories including CPG, food/beverage/wine/spirits, technology, toy and gaming preferred
