As a Road Test Evaluator, you will play a crucial role in assessing the driving skills and abilities of individuals seeking employment with Canada Cartage. You will be responsible for conducting road tests in accordance with Canada Cartages guidelines and regulations to determine if they meet the necessary criteria for safe and responsible driving.
Conduct road tests for individuals including both automatic and manual transmissions and specialized endorsements (AZ, DZ, G Class)
Evaluate the driving skills of applicants by observing their ability to conduct pre-trip, tractor-trailer hookups and maneuver a vehicle safely and confidently in various traffic conditions in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act
Provide clear and constructive feedback to applicants regarding their performance during the road test, highlighting areas for improvement
Ensure that all testing procedures are conducted in compliance with Canada Cartage, regulations, and company policies and in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act
Maintain accurate records of road test results and other relevant documentation
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to continuously improve testing processes and uphold the highest standards of quality and professionalism
A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a commercial vehicle
Valid AZ license with a clean driving record
Experience using MS Office Suites
