The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. They provide financial leadership, analysis, and strategic guidance to support operational excellence, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth. Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is required. Require a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Technical Experience: 3-5 years in a relevant technical field, with progressive experience in accounting, finance, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Leadership Experience: 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Prior experience in a controller or similar financial leadership role is beneficial.Manufacturing Experience: several years' experience with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, production variance analysis, and overhead allocation.Experience working with cross-functional teams, production managers, and senior executives to achieve financial objectives and drive operational improvements.Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills are crucial. They need to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.Cost Accounting: Understanding of cost accounting principles is essential for tracking and analyzing production costs, overhead expenses, and inventory valuation in a manufacturing environment.Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational decision-making and resource allocation.Financial Reporting: Proficiency in financial reporting standards and regulations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to management and corporate headquarters.ERP Systems: Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, used for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.
