Description :

We are seeking a Senior Data Visualization Specialist to spearhead the design of analytical solutions, transforming data into actionable insights for our Supply Chain team. This role is a key part of our Supply Chain Transformation team, working in close collaboration with both the IT Business Intelligence team and all Supply Chain members.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering and prioritizing business requirements, configuring the source data and designing optimal Tableau dashboards to monitor supply chain activities and aid in decision-making.

As a member of the Supply Chain Transformation team, the senior visualization specialist will be instrumental in fostering a culture of Tableau proficiency among all users within the global supply chain function whilst ensuring an efficient back end structure achieved through close collaboration with the IT (BI) team.

Responsabilités & tâches :

  • Responsible for implementing data visualization reports across the supply chain function.
  • Design and animate workshops to understand business needs, translate business requirements into functional specifications and BI & AI model frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the BI team in the development of underlying data sources for complex reporting and BI solutions and propose ideas & innovations to stimulate growth.
  • Work with BI Partner, BI Developers, Data Architects to frame back-end requirements and build code/procedures when required following standard change procedure (URS).
  • Translate user needs into intuitive dashboards using best practice design techniques with the goal of making the data easily understandable and actional for the end user.
  • Validate the data used in visualizations using various systems (SAP, HANA, Analysis for Office)
  • Support SMEs on self-service BI tools & data analysis and reporting.
  • Actively participates in SCRUM on requested items (progress, milestones, targeted delivery date, etc.)
  • Help identify training needs of the supply chain community and develop training material, catalogs, Standards & Governance for the BI platforms (Tableau, Analysis for Office)
  • Communicate findings, trainings, and opportunities to peers within supply chain and to higher leadership level.
  • Work closely with the supply chain leadership team to develop a KPI-based analytical framework, enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :

Familiarity with BI technologies

Solid understanding of data quality, business processes and underlying technology

Experience with scripting languages (SQL) * Ability to influence, coach and train SMEs.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to analytical and data problems.
  • Ability to develop analytical frameworks and generate / communicate business insights.
  • Attention to detail, high aptitude for problem solving and a natural interest in understanding and explaining consumer behavior / business.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a comfort in presenting material.
  • Works well in both a collaborative team environment and as an individual contributor.
  • Solid understanding of the structure of relational databases. Experience with transactional systems, ERPs is an asset.
  • An understanding of supply chain management processes is an asset.
  • Experience with SAP-ECC,SQL, Tableau, Business Objects, BW, HANA, Exasol, Azure, etc. is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
Education : Bachelor

Experience : 0 years: Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other quantitative field preferred.
3 years: Minimum 3 years of expert-level experience with Tableau, Analysis for Office, Bex, or other BI tools.
3 years: At least 3 years experience working in an equivalent role (BI Data Analyst)#J-18808-Ljbffr
