PEMBERTON SECONDARY SCHOOL

The successful candidate must:

· possess relevant university training, or its equivalent in the subject areas;

· possess relevant university training, or its equivalent related to the position;

· possess relevant, successful experience teaching Metalwork and Project based learning at the secondary level;

· have specialized Trades training including Red Seal Certification;

· be familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards;

· have demonstrated and proven strategies for differentiation of instruction, assessment and support; and,

· have a solid understanding and knowledge of the new Ministry curriculum and competencies.

Salary range: $59,432.34 per to $108,341.34 per year, based on category as assigned by the Teachers’ Qualification Service (TQS) and previous teaching experience
