Senior Process Engineer
The Process Engineer is a key member of the Engineering team and contributes to process optimization, trouble shooting, and project initiatives of Greenfire Resources Operating Corporation (GROC). GROC is a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, where it is expected to handle multiple projects, with a wide scope of work at the same time.
This role can be either a full time, or a 12-month contract position, with 40-hrs per week based in Greenfire Resources Calgary office, with regular site visits.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager

Conduct feasibility level process studies to identify the scope of work for development, debottlenecking, management of change, and optimization projects. Support projects by participating in and providing input to key project milestones including: Support third party engineering consultants, answering technical questions and providing direction where required. Perform process engineering calculations and process modelling as required, to support facility troubleshooting, debottlenecking and projects.
Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams, line designation tables, equipment data sheets, instrument data sheets.
Operations, Development, Production, Environment, and Regulatory.
At least ten years of relevant engineering experience in Oil Sands SAGD technology (CPF and Well pads).
and a fluency with process design software such as Hysys, Flarenet, EDR etc.
Proven proficiency with analytics, such as process plant data trending/data analysis tools, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
