We are looking for a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team and provide technical expertise and service to our customers. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in sales or used car buying with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively in multiple languages ​​is a plus
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to work hard to achieve results
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Working knowledge of relevant automotive systems and software

The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive lead generation efforts within the private marketplace and successfully convert potential deals.
  • Diligently follow up on leads provided by Carnex, ensuring effective management and attainment of conversion targets.
  • Assess vehicles based on accurate evaluations of their condition, available packages, options, and prevailing market prices.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients to facilitate successful deal conversions.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and compile comprehensive vehicle inspection reports.
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet job demands effectively.

Qualifications

Schedule

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate

  • Thornhill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Automotive Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

  • OMVIC (Preferred)
  • G2/Full G License required
