Location: Ottawa, ON (Government of Canada projects)Clearance Required: Secret Level ClearanceWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Azure Agile Project Manager with a proven track record of managing projects within the Government of Canada environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, particularly agile practices, combined with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading and managing Azure projects within the government sector, ensuring successful delivery while adhering to strict security protocols and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Microsoft Azure projects within the Government of Canada, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Employ agile project management methodologies to facilitate iterative development, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and stakeholders, to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and identifying risks and issues proactively.Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and technology infrastructure, to ensure efficient project delivery within allocated resources.Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, providing transparency and facilitating decision-making processes.Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and policies, particularly with regards to Secret Clearance requirements and government data protection protocols.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within project teams, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically managing Microsoft Azure projects within the Government of Canada environment.Demonstrated expertise in agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, with a focus on delivering software solutions iteratively and incrementally.Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams, including technical and non-technical personnel.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) preferred.Secret Clearance or higher clearance level required.Familiarity with government procurement processes, security standards, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals and objectives.If you meet the qualifications outlined above and are passionate about leading transformative Azure projects within the Government of Canada, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
