Loss Prevention Manager

  • Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention programs and policies aligned with company guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of store operations to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Collaborate with store managers and staff to promote awareness and compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches, and take appropriate action to address and resolve these issues
  • Utilize surveillance equipment and other security tools to monitor store activity and deter criminal behavior.
  • Train and educate store employees on theft prevention techniques, security protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and other relevant data, and prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in loss prevention and security management, recommending updates and improvements to existing programs as necessary.
  • Analyze reports and provide input for follow-up with Store Manager and District Manager to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.
Requirements
  • College diploma in loss prevention, business management or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years loss prevention and management experience
  • Advanced level of knowledge, understanding and proficiency in loss prevention
  • Experience in and understanding of retail operations
  • Professionalism, interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
