Location: Toronto, on Subway Line (Hybrid Remote)
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role supervises a team of two in the Tax Department. Our client is one of Toronto's leading wealth management companies, conveniently located on the subway line. The role offers flexibility for a hybrid remote work schedule.
Implement SOX controls, conduct testing, and write narratives
Develop processes for global income tax accounting
Coordinate with external service providers for various projects, including:
Domestic income tax compliance
Sales tax compliance
Maintenance of domestic compliance calendar
Supervision of domestic tax audits, both direct and indirect taxes
M&A and purchase accounting (income and indirect taxes)
Tax account reconciliation
Intercompany settlements with Finance team members
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (B.Preferably completed In-depth Tax
