We are looking for a Datacentre Operations Specialist for the Bank of Canada with Security clearance of Secret.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in installation and power-up (Rack & Stack) of servers, peripherals, and network equipment.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience and exposure in IT Operations work including, the operational capabilities and typical challenges of data center operations.
• Demonstrated experience of cabling infrastructure, as well as, maintaining documentation of newly installed infrastructure devices.
• Demonstrated understanding of data center facilities infrastructure, such as HVAC, service entrances, UPS, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate onsite support of third-party contractors performing infrastructure projects, preventative maintenance, or testing.

Additional Qualifications:
The following will also be considered:
• Ability to meet the Bank’s Secret Clearance requirements.
• English essential, French will be considered an asset.
