We work hard to ensure that, whether we’re installing new systems, servicing an emergency repair, or proactively maintaining your current HVAC and refrigeration systems, we always work efficiently.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient functioning of Refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Install, inspect, and maintain various refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including split systems, rooftop units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with apex Refrigeration policies and procedures.
· Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute installation or repair projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
· Use CRM software to document repair information, equipment information, complete safety documentation, and log time for payroll.
· Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing concerns, and explaining technical information in a clear manner.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and guidelines.
· Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic or Indentured Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice in the province of Alberta.
· Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable abstract.
· Prior experience in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry is considered an asset but is not mandatory. Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic.
· Ability to participate in a on-call rotation and respond to service calls after hours, on weekends, and holidays.
