Role Overview

As a Marketing Coordinator , you will support the day-to-day marketing efforts for BigGeo and HeyAuto, ensuring our communication strategies resonate with our audience. You’ll collaborate across teams to maintain brand consistency while driving engagement and visibility for our brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Operations:
    Assist in daily marketing tasks, spanning social media, email campaigns, PR, and content creation.
  • Content Creation:
    Design and refine marketing materials such as graphics, social posts, and basic videos using tools like Canva and Figma.
  • Writing & Editing:

    Craft compelling content for blogs, newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels, with opportunities to leverage AI for idea generation and editing.
  • Brand Consistency:
    Collaborate with the team to ensure uniformity in messaging, branding, and strategic execution.
  • Social Media Management:
    Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and support community-building efforts.
  • SEO & Analytics:
    Conduct keyword research and contribute to SEO optimization for online content.
  • Campaign Execution:
    Assist in planning and executing paid ads, partnerships, and communication strategies.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Track and analyze the success of marketing initiatives to identify areas of improvement.
  • Team Support:
    Handle smaller-scale tasks, enabling the team to focus on larger strategic priorities.

Requirements
  • Educational Background:
    A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    1-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and social media analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced tools for marketing and content creation is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bonus if you know how to video edit
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
