About this role:

Lorica Cybersecurity invites applications from exceptional and experienced Test Software Engineers to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications, focusing on the design and development of both manual and automated cross-platform web applications for Lorica.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovate, lead, and contribute to the development and enhancement of Lorica products.
  • Design and implement secure computation algorithms' architectural framework.
  • Evaluate and analyze full system performance, initiating performance improvements.
  • Develop libraries and APIs for the core software.
  • Deploy our computing engine and algorithm library on leading cloud platforms.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by exploring and implementing emerging software engineering technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional experience with Python or Javascript.
  • Proficiency in Linux development environments.
  • Excellent learning capabilities and a knack for adopting new technologies swiftly.
  • Interest in solving intricate, intellectually challenging problems.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in test automation architecture for web or native applications and microservices.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and creating automation frameworks and tools aimed at improving QA efficiency.
  • Ability to lead and strategize QA across large projects/organizations.
  • Experience with version control solutions (both centralized and distributed).
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining CI systems (Jenkins preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and Quality processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with cloud services, such as AWS.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and code instrumentation.
  • Experience with at least one modern web application framework, such as React/Angular/Ember.js.
  • Significant experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Experience in API functional testing and API test development.
  • Familiarity with Selenium or Appium.
  • Experience with React Native.
