Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Mental Health Solutions, the Director, Mental Health Product Development will be accountable for the oversight and evolution of Group Benefits’ mental health product shelf. Evolve the mental health product vision, with keen focus on driving business growth, shaping the industry through innovation, and maintaining market leadership.
# Product development: Drive product development from concept to implementation, including feasibility, business case, project initiation & oversight, go-to-market planning, and value realization. Product management: Assess product performance across all levers and optimize continuously for maximum value.
# Manage vendor relationships and cultivate strategic partnerships.

Highly developed leadership and influencing capabilities, ability to effectively manage relationships across the organization to deliver against objectives. Experienced people manager and product leader, drawing on experience from both domains to build a strong product team. Proven balance of analytical and creative problem-solving skills, ability to focus on the critical business issues in a data-driven and fact-based manner. A good understanding of the Canadian mental health landscape and the group benefits industry. A university degree, post-graduate studies in management would be considered an asset. 5+ years of relevant work experience (product management, strategy, health tech). As this position is posted in several locations, bilingualism (French and English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
