About the Role

Please note that only candidates based in the Montreal/Greater Montreal area will considered for this position.

As the Vice President of Information Technology at Tecsys, you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our corporate IT operations in a digital-first environment. From shaping the technological landscape to driving innovation, your role will be crucial in ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment that supports our teams worldwide. You will lead IT infrastructure, system administration, and help desk support teams, fostering a collaborative work environment that empowers them to deliver exceptional services remotely as well as in office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy

  • Develop and execute a digital-first IT strategy aligned with company goals, driving innovation and digital transformation.
  • Provide leadership and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the IT department.
  • Make critical decisions on technology selection, deployment, and maintenance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, in alignment with strategic and operational business priorities.

2. Business Application & Solution Support

  • Ensure seamless business solution support for Tecsys, aligning technology with customer needs for streamlined operations.
  • Oversee the performance of critical business applications across Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing, and other areas.
  • Drive successful implementation of system enhancements and updates to maintain peak performance, reliability, and internal user satisfaction pilots for validation.

3. Management of Infrastructure and Network Operations

  • Manage corporate IT operations, overseeing infrastructure, network security, system administration, and remote help desk support.
  • Ensure IT systems are consistently available, secure, and scalable, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and maintain resilience and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity during adverse events or disasters, mitigating risks and minimizing disruptions.

4.Cybersecurity and Risk Management

  • Work closely with the Security team to implement robust cybersecurity measures safeguarding the company's data, intellectual property, and confidential information in a digital-first work environment.

5.Delivery of Strategic Projects and Critical Investments

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align strategic projects with business requirements, while addressing potential obstacles.
  • Manage software and service procurement to optimize IT investments and ensure sustainable delivery models.
  • Direct external providers to meet project milestones within agreed budgets, scope, and quality standards.
  • Establish and manage IT budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while upholding service quality and compliance standards

6.People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team to deliver IT services for a growing digital-first organization.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent crucial for providing valuable technology solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to enhance technical proficiency and foster a customer-centric partnership mindset.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Extensive IT leadership experience in software or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, system administration, and help desk support.
  • Track record of successfully developing and executing digital transformation strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities, leveraging technological advancements.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management for IT operations.
  • Strong experience in business process re-engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership in IT delivery and execution within fast-paced environments.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec. Preferably bilingual in both English and French (written and spoken).

En tant que vice-président des technologies de l'information chez Tecsys, vous serez un leader stratégique chargé de superviser et de gérer tous les aspects de nos opérations informatiques d'entreprise dans un environnement axé sur le numérique. Qu'il s'agisse de façonner le paysage technologique ou d'encourager l'innovation, votre rôle sera crucial pour garantir un environnement informatique sécurisé et efficace qui soutient nos équipes dans le monde entier. Vous dirigerez les équipes d'infrastructure informatique, d'administration système et de support technique, en favorisant un environnement de travail collaboratif qui leur permet de fournir des services exceptionnels à distance ainsi qu'au bureau.

Principales responsabilités :

1. Stratégie informatique

  • Développer et exécuter une stratégie informatique axée sur le numérique, alignée sur les objectifs de l'entreprise, favorisant l'innovation et la transformation numérique.
  • Assurer le leadership et favoriser une culture d'amélioration continue et d'excellence au sein du service informatique.
  • Prendre des décisions critiques sur la sélection, le déploiement et la maintenance des technologies afin d'améliorer l'efficience et l'efficacité, conformément aux priorités stratégiques et opérationnelles de l'entreprise.

2. Prise en charge des applications et solutions d'affaires

  • Assurer un support transparent des solutions d'affaires pour Tecsys, en alignant la technologie sur les besoins des clients pour des opérations rationalisées.
  • Superviser la performance des applications critiques dans les domaines des ventes, des ressources humaines, des finances, du marketing et autres.
  • Soutenir la mise en œuvre des améliorations et des mises à jour du système afin de maintenir des performances optimales, une fiabilité et des pilotes de satisfaction des utilisateurs internes pour validation.

3. Gestion des infrastructures et des opérations de réseau

  • Gérer les opérations informatiques de l'entreprise, en supervisant l'infrastructure, la sécurité du réseau, l'administration système et le support technique à distance.
  • Assurer que les systèmes informatiques sont constamment disponibles, sécurisés et évolutifs, en optimisant les performances et en minimisant les temps d'arrêt.
  • Développer et maintenir des stratégies de résilience et de reprise pour assurer la continuité des activités en cas d'événements indésirables ou de catastrophes, en atténuant les risques et en minimisant les interruptions.

4. Cybersécurité et gestion des risques

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de sécurité pour mettre en œuvre des mesures de cybersécurité robustes protégeant les données, la propriété intellectuelle et les informations confidentielles de l'entreprise dans un environnement de travail axé sur le numérique.

5. Réalisation de projets stratégiques et d'investissements critiques

  • Collaborer avec les chefs d'entreprise pour aligner les projets stratégiques sur les exigences de l'entreprise, tout en éliminant les obstacles potentiels.
  • Gérer l'approvisionnement en logiciels et services pour optimiser les investissements informatiques et garantir des modèles de livraison durables.
  • Diriger les fournisseurs externes pour qu'ils respectent les étapes du projet dans les limites des budgets, de la portée et des normes de qualité convenus.
  • Établir et gérer les budget , en identifiant les opportunités de réduction des coûts tout en respectant les normes de qualité de service et de conformité.

6. Leadership de l'équipe

  • Diriger et développer une équipe fournissant des services informatiques à une organisation en pleine croissance
  • Attirer, retenir et développer l'equipe afin de fournir des solutions technologiques de valeur.
  • Fournir une formation et un mentorat complet pour améliorer les compétences techniques de et favoriser un esprit de partenariat centré sur le client.
Qualifications


• Diplôme en informatique, en technologie de l'information ou dans un domaine connexe.


• Vaste expérience en leadership informatique dans des environnements logiciels ou technologiques.


• Expertise éprouvée dans la gestion de l'infrastructure informatique, l'administration système et le support technique.


• Antécédents de développement et d'exécution réussis de stratégies de transformation numérique.


• Solides compétences en leadership et en communication, capables d'inspirer et de collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles.


• Penseur stratégique doté de capacités de résolution de problèmes et tirant parti des progrès technologiques.


• Fort sens des affaires avec expérience en budgétisation et en gestion des ressources pour les opérations informatiques.


• Forte expérience en réingénierie des processus d'affaires.


• Leadership démontré en matière de prestation et d'exécution informatique dans des environnements en évolution rapide.


• Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite en anglais, nécessaires pour communiquer efficacement avec nos clients, fournisseurs, partenaires d'affaires et collègues en dehors de la province du Québec. De préférence bilingue en anglais et en français (écrit et parlé).
