Job Description: Photonics Engineer -Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication experience. -Direct the design and development of new products and components. -Competent with 3D modeling applications like Solid Works, Autodesk Fusion, and AutoCAD. -Experience in lab testing, evaluating, and integrating electronic components with software expertise is a plus. -A basic understanding of 3D printing and laser engraving will be advantageous. -A working knowledge of electronic/mechanical design, assembly drawings, and bills of materials would be advantageous. Responsibilities -Conducting and desiring product testing -Evaluating the practicability of product design, testing, and reexamining the products and instruments as needed. Qualifications -Diploma/Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Photonic Engineering, or a related subject. -Possessing an exceptional understanding of sensors, optical components, and 3D modeling is advantageous. -Due to the nature of the position and applicable restrictions, Canadian citizens and permanent residents are strongly urged to apply.
