One of our top partners in the Electric Vehicle space is preparing to build a facility that will be a crucial part of Canada’s Electric Vehicle (EV) supply chain in Kingston area. Our client is looking for a Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for identifying the maintenance requirements for assets to increase plant productivity, improve processes and maximize reliability performance.

Coordinate all predictive maintenance efforts on site to secure Asset health.
# Asses the expected life of assets, life cycle cost of the equipment, ways to extend life of the assets, and address failure modes.
# Ensure that the reliability needs are incorporated in design, purchase, installation and commissioning phase of the capital projects.
# Determine the function, capability, probability of failure, impact and acceptable risk of assets for maintenance works.
# Conduct critical assessments of all assets to define health measures.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in mid to large size production plant operations preferably in chemical industry.
Proven ability to lead maintenance and reliability teams in a complex facility.
Practical knowledge of PdM technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Infra Red, etc,. Ability to facilitate RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) And RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) Processes.
Advanced computer skills and maintenance management systems (SAP PM).
Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems.
