Responsible for developing and supporting data products, this resource plays a critical role in the design, development and management of modern, cloud-based data engineering and data warehouse solutions utilized by internal and external stakeholders.
Create high performance data products by monetizing business intelligence (BI) solutions, warehouse and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) technologies
Work closely with different teams such as client, sales, IT, media planning and buying
Design, develop and productionize data engineering pipelines on a massively parallel processing (MPP) and cloud-based tech stack, utilizing solution aspects from hybrid-clouds like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), data lakes and multiple data warehouses.
Data management functions including:
Metadata management
Create database objects as needed (e.g. Stored procedures, Stages, Indexes)
Optimization of data pipelines
Maintain best practices for handling, storing and using data
Data Build Tool (Dbt) Cloud Edition
Apache Spark / AWS Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Python, Pandas
Exposure to Tableau, Looker nice to have.
Will be leading workstreams related to corporate data migrations, consolidation, decommissions and net new stack builds for various commercial, marketing and clinical domains.
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Strong understanding of ETL and data warehouse principles
Technical documentation skills
Ability to present complex ideas in user-friendly language
Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
Minimum of 10+ years of SQL experience and 8+ years designing and developing ETL solutions
Python / Spark
Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state.
