They are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of data-driven decision-making and are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team.

What you will be doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

  • Utilise Python and SQL to manipulate and analyse large datasets efficiently.

  • Implement best practices for data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data pipeline.

  • Optimise data processing and storage solutions for performance and cost-effectiveness.

  • Work with a cloud platform to deploy and manage data infrastructure and services.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Python, SQL, and ETL processes.

  • Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience working with any cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and proficiency in deploying and managing data infrastructure on cloud environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
