Valve & Hose Technician Position

The Valve & Hose Technician position at DJ Industrial involves maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing of various industrial valves. The technician also fabricates hose and tube assemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
  2. Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, and testing of valves at DJI facilities.
  3. Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
  4. Fabricate hose assemblies per supplier’s specification, including set-up and calibration of equipment, cleaning, inspection, measuring, and testing.
  5. Adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
  6. Communicate timely updates to management and co-workers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
  7. Work closely with co-workers, management, and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
