Accounting Payroll Specialist

Our client, a prominent player in the logistics and transportation industry, is currently seeking a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to join their team in Brampton. Reporting to the CFO, the Payroll & Accounting Specialist will be responsible for handling full-cycle payroll for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple provinces, which will only occupy a couple of days out of a two-week cycle. The rest of the time will be dedicated to supporting basic A/P and A/R duties.
This full-time, in-office position offers a competitive base salary, discretionary bonus, benefits, RRSP contributions, two weeks of vacation, and a positive working environment.
To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 4 years of experience handling full-cycle payroll, preferably with a PCP designation or close to completion. Additionally, you should possess basic knowledge of handling accounts payable and receivable tasks. Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and Excel is required.
