Horizon Health Network in beautiful New Brunswick is looking for a Director, Addiction and Mental Health to join our team
Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, collaborative, adaptable individual to join our team as a Director, Addiction and Mental Health, Fredericton and Upper River Valley. The ideal candidate will have experience with operational and strategic leadership of health services in a multi-stakeholder environment and a commitment to continuous quality improvement to ensure accessible, timely and high-quality addiction and mental health services to citizens.

You have a worked in health leadership position for 3-5 years, preferably with some experience in the field of addiction and mental health. You have a high proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications. You have solid people and financial management skills. You have a master’s degree in business or health care management or a degree in an affiliated healthcare profession with specialized training in business/management.
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level. Spoken and written French is a strong asset.
Work closely with a psychiatry co-lead to oversee and ensure quality, effectiveness, access and timeliness of programs and services
Participate in strategic planning for Addictions and Mental Health services in Horizon Health Network
implementation in their zone * Monitor and evaluate the quality and safety of services and nurture a culture of continuous quality improvement on teams, participating in Addiction and Mental Health regional quality activities
Prepare, manage, monitor and report on budgets
Monitor and report on performance indicators
policies and procedures * Oversee human resource planning and assisting recruitment and retention activities
