Carecor is looking for passionate part-time Community Personal Support Workers in Russell, Ontario. This casual position involves providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes. As a PSW, you’ll be instrumental in assisting clients with various daily living activities that promote safety and independence. Responsibilities include personal care such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation while adapting to individual client needs. If you are compassionate and seek to make a difference, this role is made for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities as outlined
- Observe and report client changes to supervisors
- Ensure confidentiality and adhere to care standards
- Engage in ongoing education and training activities
- Comply with safety practices and company policies
- Certification as PSW or in nursing pathway
- Clinical experience in the past year
- Basic Life Support certification required
- Proof of negative TB test or X-ray needed
- Willingness to perform police check as part of hiring
