Programming and Integration Project Manager

Our client based in central Alberta, designs, and manufactures electrical components for OEM’s in the RV, marine industries, specialty vehicle and heavy equipment industries is seeking a Programming and Integration Project Manager to join their growing teamIn this role you will meet customer’s needs by managing projects and integrations of specific solutions including includes a broad line of touchscreen and keypad user interfaces, electronics control modules and panels, power distribution systems and several sensor technologies. The ones who are not intimidated by challenge.Innovation - We ask for those that object to mediocrity and embrace innovation through ideas and actions.ResponsibilitiesEffectively and assertively handle communication and virtual / in-person meetings with customersAccurately assess the scope of a project, including all client requirements, and develop project proposals, tasks, and schedulesOrganize, manage, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously between several customers and teammatesTrack ongoing project progress and ensure that projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budgetOversee and manage programming team and staff resources. Delegate and prioritize the workload appropriately based on skills and expertiseConsistently and effectively test, troubleshoot and identify programming bugsIdentify problems, propose and implement suitable solutions and maintain documentationCritical thinking, problem solving skills, taking initiative, implementing new structures and processesEffectively communicate project status to clients and key project participantsBe willing and able to travel in Canada and the US on flexible work hoursPosition may also include other related projects, or other tasks as requiredEffectively lead a team of 6+ ProgrammersRequirements:Applicant Qualifications:Legally entitled to live and work in Canada, travel to the US5+ years of relevant experienceDemonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skillsStrong interpersonal, mentorship, and team leadership skillsStrong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Independently motivated, and works well in a team environment High level of accuracy and strong attention to detailMaintain professionalism in the workplace, remains composed under pressure while meeting deadlines, maintaining regular schedule with occasional extended hoursDesirable (But Not Required) Attributes Include:Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similarAptitude and interest in graphic designCompensation: Very competitive annual compensation based on applicant education, experience, credentials and performance.
