Job Description:

Sky Sight Inc. is looking for a talented and detail-oriented individual for the firm's Architectural Technologist role (Entry-Level, Full-time Permanent). As an Architectural Technologist, you will work on residential and commercial building design, LiDAR scan-to-BIM/CAD, and 3D rendering projects.

 

Requirements:

  • An accredited Diploma (or Degree) in Architecture or Architectural Technology
  • Minimum of 1-3 years industry experience at an Architecture, Engineering or Construction firm working with the Ontario and National Building Codes
  • Expert knowledge and high proficiency in Autodesk Revit and the AutoDesk AEC Collection (AutoCAD, ReCap Pro, Navisworks, Civil3D, etc.)
  • Experience preparing highly-detailed construction documentation for residential, multi-family dwellings, and commercial fit-out projects
  • Advanced knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC)
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, File Management, and Project Management tools
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends, if required)

 

Assets:

  • Current member of Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario (AATO)

· Experience in photorealistic 3D Rendering using Epic Games Twinmotion

· Experience working with LiDAR point cloud data and 3D photogrammetry models (reality capture) of buildings and sites

· Experience conducting site visits

· Knowledge of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Standards (Office, Industrial, Retail, and Mixed-Use)

· Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
