Job Description: Sky Sight Inc. is looking for a talented and detail-oriented individual for the firm's Architectural Technologist role (Entry-Level, Full-time Permanent). As an Architectural Technologist, you will work on residential and commercial building design, LiDAR scan-to-BIM/CAD, and 3D rendering projects.
 
An accredited Diploma (or Degree) in Architecture or Architectural Technology
Minimum of 1-3 years industry experience at an Architecture, Engineering or Construction firm working with the Ontario and National Building Codes
Expert knowledge and high proficiency in Autodesk Revit and the AutoDesk AEC Collection (AutoCAD, ReCap Pro, Navisworks, Civil3D, etc.)
Experience preparing highly-detailed construction documentation for residential, multi-family dwellings, and commercial fit-out projects
Advanced knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC)
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, File Management, and Project Management tools
Excellent communication and project management skills
Willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends, if required)
 
Assets:
~ Current member of Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario (AATO)

· Experience in photorealistic 3D Rendering using Epic Games Twinmotion
· Experience working with LiDAR point cloud data and 3D photogrammetry models (reality capture) of buildings and sites
· Experience conducting site visits
· Knowledge of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Standards (Office, Industrial, Retail, and Mixed-Use)
· Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
