The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality written content across various platforms to engage our audience and promote our brand. This full-time position offers excellent opportunities for growth within our rapidly expanding organization.Position: Content WriterSalary: $55,000 to $65,000Expected Start Date: As soon as possible Responsibilities:· Develop and produce high quality, informative and engaging written content for brochures, newsletters, flyers, and other marketing materials.· Write compelling SEO content for websites.· Conduct topic research, fact checking, formatting, image sourcing and basic editing.· Stay attuned with and up to date with the Canadian finance industry (including but not limited to investments, mortgages, real estate market, etc.)· Support marketing teams with content designs.· Key role in developing content related to services offered.· Ensure content is easy to understand.· Work with members of the marketing team to advertise content accurately and effectively.· Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand product and service capabilities.· Other tasks and projects assignedBenefits:· 10 Days Paid Vacation Days · 3 Paid Employee Emergency Flex Days· Quarterly Bonuses· Group Benefits · Weekly ongoing Professional Development · Employee Social Events · Complimentary Monthly Friday Lunch· Daily Snacks and Beverages· Time off For Birthdays & Employee of the Month· Summer Hours (1/2-day Fridays in July & August)Qualifications/Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.· Minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in commercial content writing, blogging or journalism.· Portfolio of written works.· Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.· Familiarity with SEO.· Ability to work independently and manage multiple writing projects with tight deadlines.· Excellent technology skills in using all Microsoft Suite Software’s including, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, Outlook, Google Chrome, etc.· Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to express ideas and procedures clearly and concisely; ability to work with highly sensitive information· Superior attention to detail, organizational skills and calm demeanor.· Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, sums, drop-downs, PivotTables, Macros, etc.· Resides in close proximity to the office in Vaughan (preferred)· Must own a vehicle and have full access at all times.· Mandatory attendance in Company Corporate Events.· Participation in Charitable Events.
