Résumé du travail:

This is a maternity leave 18-month contract position. As a Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of CSA’s nationally accredited standards development process and activities, overseeing all aspects of assigned projects. This includes:

  1. Facilitating multiple volunteer committees, technical and/or strategic from diverse backgrounds ranging from senior executives to technical level representatives in both public and private sectors, NGOs, academia, industry associations and regulatory authorities
  2. Facilitating development of technical standards through volunteer committees of technical experts, including convening in-person and/or virtual meetings
  3. Establishing and actively managing schedules, processes, and resource requirements (e.g., funding, personnel), costs, quality, and risk
  4. Collaborating with technical committee leadership (Chair, Vice-Chair) to manage committee operations and membership
  5. Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
  6. Responsible for the oversight of an accredited process in development of national, bi-national and/or international standards
  7. Liaising with internal and external partners including member organizations, internal management, editorial, production, legal and finance teams towards successful delivery of projects
  8. Participating on occasional internal task teams (e.g., business or process improvement, research)
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as engineering, science, or project management. Designation as a Project Management Professional, or equivalent designation/experience, would be an asset.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and/or standards development. Experience in the energy sector and/or knowledge of related topics (e.g., nuclear) would be an asset. Experience working with volunteers and/or multi-stakeholder groups would be an asset.

Skills:

Applicants with proficiency in French will be given special consideration.
