Position: Tanker Driver (must be able to operate a manual transmission)
Shift: Full time - 40 hours per week
Compensation: $28/hr CAD + Benefits (Overtime Paid for any time worked over 8 hours in a day)
The Canadian hourly rate for this position is $28 + benefits. Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and location. Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and location. Rates may also be determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific rate factors for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process, as some facilities are subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements. Please note that the compensation details listed in the Canadian roles postings reflect the hourly rate only, and do not include benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives such as overtime and shift premiums.

Our Drivers play an integral part in the transportation of bulk liquid commodities and hazardous materials. Benefits of being a Chemtrade Tanker Driver
Chemtrade drivers deliver local and short hauls to customers only Brand new trucks and trailers/equipment maintained by Chemtrade
Well maintained trucks and equipment managed by the Company
Health, dental, vision and insurance coverage
Operated a manual transmission truck
Unload raw materials from tank trucks
Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks, safely and with the required paperwork
Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, Local laws rules and regulations
Minimum five (5) years of tractor/tanker experience
Minimum one (1) year of tanker experience
Must have a valid commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements
Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide valid medical card
Be able to provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade
Ability to work a flexible and changeable schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and overtime
