- Fasteners, safety equipment
- Bearings/ gears/ Power transmission, chains and much more
The Job
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will establish targets for sales, gross margin, and new account growth with a commission program based on exceeding established targets. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct weekly physical visits to customer locations and develop superior "customer intimacy.”
- Set targets for sales, gross margin, and new account growth with commission-based incentives
- Demonstrate strong selling skills, from prospecting to closing
- Emphasize product benefits, quote prices, and manage orders
- Build a network of referrals for revenue growth and generate new customer accounts, through cold-calling and other methods
- Manage your call schedule efficiently and maintain accurate records, including sales reports and documentation
- Assist in creating RFP responses (5% of role).
- Stay updated on products, competitors, and industry trends
What you bring to the job
You are someone with strong selling skills and come with:
- Post-secondary certification or equivalent experience
- 2-5+ years Sales experience in outside sales required
- Industries preferred (Machinery, Industrial, Bearings, Parts)
- Self-motivation, high energy, and teamwork skills
- Customer-focused mindset and professional communication skills
