We have an excellent 1 year contract opportunity with possible extension for a Senior Business Analyst in Ottawa/Toronto.
Contractor may have to come on site in Ottawa, on ad hoc basis.
Must haves:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business analyst role and / or in other relevant roles within IT on of a range of mid-to-large size initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality
- Experience working with SAP ECC including code analysis
- Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA is a nice to have
- Knowledge in SAP OTC processes.
- Experienced in effectively interacting and communicating with business teams; can consolidate business requirements and translate them into IT deliverables

What role you will play?
Reporting to the Order to Cash Business Architect under the Experience Transformation program, the Business Analyst (“BA”) will work with the functional team to analyze, define, validate and document current Order to Cash processes. The Business Analyst understands the needs of multiple stakeholders and facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders. The BA bridges the needs of the business partners with the use of IT and identifies options for designing and improving business systems. This individual understands business processes, process analysis/management, and their related IT requirements.
What will you be responsible for?
- Identify the current and future-state business processes
- Analyze and document functional requirements through analysis of current SAP ECC programs and functions
- Validation of data migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA
What skills you need for this role to be yours?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business analyst role and / or in other relevant roles within IT on of a range of mid-to-large size initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality
- Experience working with SAP ECC including code analysis
- Client Management: Experienced in effectively interacting and communicating with business teams; can consolidate business requirements and translate them into IT deliverables
- Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills, ability to influence
- Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships as well as managing and resolving conflict
Additional Skills that set you apart?
- Self-motivated, initiative oriented, outgoing, inquisitive & curious
- Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA is a nice to have
- Knowledge in SAP OTC processes
Education
- Academic: university degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience or combination thereof (required), Graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA)(Asset)
- Certifications: Certified business analysis professional (CBAP) (Asset), BABOK (Asset), ITIL foundations (Asset), TOGAF certification (Asset)
Location
Contractor can be located in Ottawa or Toronto areas. He may have to come on site, in Ottawa, on ad hoc basis
