The Senior Specialist, Sustainability Services will be part of our Awards & Certifications division. The successful candidate will have experience facilitating green building certifications and award projects. You’ll be working alongside a collaborative and empowering team surrounded by industry experts in delivering environmental solutions to a wide array of clients. This position reports to the division Manager and is based out of our head office in Toronto, Ontario. Our specialty is bringing to life positive change in the property management world and, for over 30 years, we have helped clients implement sustainable solutions across North America.What you will do:Facilitate sustainability and environmental awards and certifications projects (e.g. BOMA BEST, Fitwel)Write proficient award submissions, which highlight the client’s initiatives for optimum certification resultsPrepare clients for onsite verification meetings and lead client presentationsEnsure all projects are completed accurately and on-scheduleAddress any project-related issues and provide solutionsConduct energy, water, and indoor air quality auditsConduct stakeholder engagement events when requiredIdentify any opportunities to further enhance processes and best practicesWhat you bring to the role:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Environment, or related field2-3+ years sustainability consulting experience1-2+ years experience facilitating Green Building Certifications (e.g., BOMA BEST, Fitwel)Knowledge of ASHRAE Level I Energy & Water Audits and Indoor Air Quality Assessments is an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills; able to interact well with diverse groups of peopleStrong attention to detail, organizational skills; thrives in environments managing multiple projectsTakes a well-ordered and logical approach when analyzing problems, organizing work, and planning actionAvailable to travel locally and nationally when requiredValid Driver’s licenseAccess to a vehicle is an assetWhat we have to offer you:Permanent, full-time position Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits plan Flexible schedule and work remote days Professional development and career advancement Paid wellness days Paid sick days/personal days Home office reimbursement program Volunteering program Company events and social activities Sustainability culture throughout the company BOMA BEST Sustainable Workplaces Certified office We sincerely thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.We realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
