Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Project Manager in our aerospace digital services division Aeroline, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing projects that involve the development, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions tailored to the aerospace sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of aerospace digital service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors, effectively communicating project progress, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements Management:
Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze project requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance and resource utilization.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, developing contingency plans as needed to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
Implement robust quality assurance processes and measures to ensure that deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, leveraging best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
Budget and Cost Management:
Monitor project budgets and financials closely, tracking expenses, identifying variances, and taking corrective actions as needed to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
Prepare regular status reports, project documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, providing transparent visibility into project progress, milestones, and outcomes.
Mentor and coach project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the project management team.
Prior experience working with customers in aerospace industry in a digital service company is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in project management preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the aerospace industry, preferably within a digital services context.
Extensive experience in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile (Scrum, SAFe), Waterfall, and project management tools like JIRA.
Solid understanding of aerospace industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to address client needs and challenges.
Knowledge of digital technologies, such as IoT, AI, Cloud, machine learning, and data analytics, and their applications in the aerospace sector.
Languages:
Fluent in French and English (required).
