We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Recruiter to join our dynamic team for 18 months. As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in supporting ATCO in hiring top talent. Your primary responsibilities will include full cycle recruitment from creating a job posting to offer acceptance for our high volume recruitment areas such as trades, technical and administrative roles. The ideal candidate will have experience in a large and complex unionized organization.

What You Get to Do:

  • Complete full-cycle recruitment process including reviewing resumes and applications, screening candidates, and conducting initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, develop interview questions, and ensure a comprehensive evaluation process.
  • Facilitate candidate assessments, reference checks, and all other pre-employment conditions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate and leader experience through timely communication throughout the process.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to build relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new hires into the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Human Resources Degree or Diploma
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience within a large, complex organization
  • Experience with high volume recruitment in a unionized environment
  • Proven collaborator, with the ability to provide guidance and support to business clients, and develop strong interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent communication, writing and negotiation skills
