Then the position of HSE Coordinator at EnerServ is for youEnerServ has been working in the renewable energy field for over 10 years, maintaining and refurbishing hydroelectric and steam turbines and generators for organizations across Canada and around the world. Our team, made up of passionate specialists in the field, is dedicated to providing knowledge and professional service based on technical excellence.What would my tasks be ?Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with COR and Multi-Provincial OH&S regulators.Organize book upgrading of Certifications, conduct training sessions of SWP & SJP for employees. Review safety protocols including facility emergency procedures and proper equipment use.Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety-related activities. This includes accident reports. Review and sign off on FLHA’s, all inspections of company equipment, toolbox meeting and keeping all training documents up to date managing the safety Certificate matrix.Ensure up to date compliance with all HSE and Multi- Provincial OH&S Regulations, provincial standards, and review client HSE requirements for changes.Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding health and safety concerns, providing guidance and support as needed. Send out safety bulletins, monthly safety letter on the status of our HSE program.Conduct regular risk assessment to identify potential hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Develop and maintain emergency response plans for two branches, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocol, and communication strategies.Conduct regular inspections of site to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and areas for improvement.Promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among employees through education, encouragement and leading by example.Serve as a liaison between management, employees, and client reps regarding health and safety matters, conveying information and addressing concerns effectively.Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding health and safety concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
