Pickering ON, Canada AECOM Full time

AECOM's Environment team in Ontario is looking for an Environmental Scientist. This is a full-time role based out of the Pickering or Markham Office with the majority of time spent conducting field/reporting activities in Port Hope. You’ll be part of our growing team, using your skills to support the implementation of one of the landmark remediation projects in Canada. Your work will directly support the Remediation Verification program following the removal of Low-Level Radioactive Waste with growth opportunities for various roles within the project. The position will require working outdoors and in a field office setting.
Field tasks:

# General field inspection and field survey.
# Construction/remediation contractor field oversight and hazard assessments.

# Office tasks:

# Input data, conduct quality reviews of data (e.g. GIS), and independently prepare reports.

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
Eligible for licensing as a Registered Professional Engineer or Geoscientist in Ontario is considered an asset. Valid Driver's License is required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
