At Illuminate Universe, we are dedicated to advancing business and leadership education for youth professionals and youths. Our mission is to establish a globally recognized model of educational excellence and innovation. As a Leader, you will represent your high school, university, or community to do meaningful work while gaining leadership experiences. You'll embody the Illuminate mission and values, fostering the next generation of business leaders who are critical thinkers, champions of inclusivity, and who are dedicated to creating a positive impact in their communities. Your role will involve advocating for Illuminate and our National Partners while co-creating and leading a leadership project to give back to the community. Our sister program, Illuminate Leadership Academy, is a registered private business high school in Canada, offering a curriculum developed by Fortune 500 executives and Ivy League Professors.
We offer you a unique opportunity to indulge your curiosity and make a meaningful contribution to your community. The role is a part of our Community Leadership Program ( You will design and execute meaningful initiatives that benefit your greater community. Completing a project will result in payment through honorariums sponsored generously by our National Partners. Each community leadership project you complete is worth between $100-500 CAD). You may be able to complete multiple projects pending business needs and availability.
Students will also receive mentorship and career preparation coaching from experienced professionals who have secured internships with Fortune 100 companies. This valuable guide will help navigate the competitive landscape of Fortune 100 internships.
We also provide a training program that equips students with the necessary skills for a successful career. This position is part-time with the option to work in-person or remotely. Time commitment is 1-5 hours per week based on project needs, availability and your schedule.
Mentorship to High School Students:
Provide strong mentorship and guidance skills to support high school students participating in Illuminate Universe programs.
Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to effectively promote Illuminate Universe programs.
Create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media platforms, blogs, and newsletters.
Conduct market research, analyze data, and identify emerging trends to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and reach.
Project Coordination and Management:
Assist in coordinating and managing multiple projects within Illuminate Universe, ensuring their smooth execution and timely completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential issues or roadblocks, and propose effective solutions to ensure project success.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning resources for high school students.
Feedback Collection and Analysis:
Implement feedback collection mechanisms like surveys to gather input from students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Analyze feedback data to identify areas of improvement and make informed decisions to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
Current university student pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and graphic design platforms.
