Our client, a dynamic/on-trend/fast-growing global organization that is committed to developing and delivering innovative solutions, is looking for a well-accomplished HR leader that can assume the newly-created role of Vice-President, Human Resources.

This full 360-degree head-of-function role requires a highly strategic individual, who possesses a proven ability to align People strategies and programs across a dynamic global organization.

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and lead a team of 12 HR professionals (direct + indirect reports), working closely with the Executive and Senior Management Teams. The role will lead all aspects of the Talent function, including Acquisition & Retention, Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Organization Design, Employee relations, and Total Rewards and HR Technology and Services. Within North America and Internationally, you will work with a passionate team to ensure functional effectiveness and efficiency, while providing vision and direction on the long-term strategic needs of the company and international subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities for this leadership role include:

  • Drive the evolution of best-in-class programs in the areas of Learning, Leadership & Organizational Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition & Retention, Culture and Engagement to align with company's strategic initiatives.
  • Provide leadership in the development and execution of talent strategies that align with and support the overall strategic plan of the organization.
  • Deliver a Talent strategy which can be adapted and scaled in various national or global contexts; work with global managers for adoption and implementation.
  • Lead organization design and workforce planning initiatives to align with long-term business needs and strategies.

As a university graduate and designated Human Resources professional (e.g. CHRL), you have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role and will have worked within a manufacturing environment (multi-site manufacturing would be strongly preferred). In addition, to full scope HR experience, you have past accountability for strategic planning, budget development/management and people management. As a global organization, you will have proven experience with people strategy development and execution across multiple countries. Some travel within North America and internationally will be required.
