The Quality Assurance Specialist, under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, will be responsible for performing quality control, quality assurance, and quality management tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Completing quality control and assurance documentation.• Issuing non-conformity reports and assisting in the processing of these non-conformities.• Participating in quality system improvement projects.• Conducting internal audits of quality management system documents based on GMP in different sectors of the company, according to a predetermined schedule.• Drafting instructions/procedures for the quality management system.• Assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in special projects; for example, Precursor, Environmental Management, etc.• Responsible for contacting and scheduling calibrations of production-related equipment.• Completing the standard packaging form for each production of DIN and NPN products.• Responsible for monitoring the temperature in the Co-packing department and physically recording this control.• Responsible for annual training on GMP and workplace safety. As well as employee training in case of new/revised SOPs.• Being a reference for continuous improvement, methodology, and processes.• Constantly seeking to improve the analysis of raw material and final product release. Additionally, ensuring that records are adjusted as improvements are made.• Working collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the FSC system is followed in accordance with the procedure. As well as conducting internal audits.• Ensuring that the company's common area cleaning forms are completed, and cleaning is performed as described in the Multisectoral Cleaning Procedure.• Acting as a replacement for the Quality Control Team Leader during their absences, which includes:o Ensuring that the production report is up to date.o Tracking production records.o Participating in Pre-production meetings.QualificationsQuality Control, Quality AssuranceExperience in conducting quality auditsKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standardsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentExperience in the manufacturing industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, or related fieldMUST BE LOCATED IN MONTREAL, CANADA
