Nous recherchons un(e) Ingénieur de Chantier motivé(e) pour se joindre à Northvolt dans notre mission de contribuer à un avenir plus vert. Ce rôle fait partie de notre équipe de construction basée dans la grande région de Montréal. En vous joignant à nous, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la construction de l'une des premières usines de batteries à grande échelle en Amérique du Nord.
Relevant du Gestionnaire Principal de la Construction, l'Ingénieur de Chantier veillera à ce que les activités de construction sur site soient conformes aux spécifications techniques, aux plans d'ingénierie et aux exigences du projet. Cette personne fournira une orientation technique à l'équipe de construction.
Effectuer des inspections régulières des travaux de construction afin d'identifier et de remédier à toute déviation par rapport aux plans d'ingénierie. Vérifier que la construction est conforme aux normes de qualité et de sécurité.
Collaborer avec l'équipe de projet pour résoudre les problèmes qui peuvent survenir pendant la construction. Proposer des solutions efficaces pour maintenir la progression du projet.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres ingénieurs, sous-traitants et employés sur site pour coordonner les activités de construction.
Tenir des registres précis et détaillés des activités sur site, des inspections et des problèmes techniques.
Préparer des rapports pour les chefs de projet et les équipes d'ingénierie.
Field Engineer
We are looking for a driven Field Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. By joining us, you will be a key player in building one of the first large scale North American battery factories.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Construction, the Field Engineer will ensure that on-site construction activities align with engineering specifications, drawings, and project requirements. This person will provide technical guidance to the construction team.
Conduct regular inspections of construction work to identify and address any deviations from engineering plans. Verify that construction meets quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with the project team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction. Propose effective solutions to maintain project progress.
Work closely with other engineers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to coordinate construction activities.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of on-site activities, inspections, and technical issues.
Prepare reports for project managers and engineering teams.

Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
Baccalauréat en génie civil, génie de la construction, ou dans un domaine connexe.
Expérience avérée en ingénierie sur le terrain dans l'industrie de la construction.
Solide compréhension des principes de l'ingénierie et des processus de construction.
Excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes et en analyse.
Expérience dans des projets de nouvelles constructions de grande envergure

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in field engineering within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes.
Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
Experience in large scale, new construction projects
