Technical Animator (General Submission)

Method’s Real-Time division is looking for an experienced Technical Animator to join our Vancouver team.
In this role you will work with the Animation Director, Rigging and Asset teams to provide creative iterative problem-solving. You will ensure art content and features are easily integrated and aligned with our artistic vision, while also considering technical constraints and gameplay. As well as identify problems and guide the team toward better workflows through automation and tools Conduct communications between artists and dev team to optimize workflow.
They will have proven experience with animation implementation in games or film, and knowledge of animation retargeting and sharing. Software: Maya, UE or equivalent game engine, Motionbuilder (bonus)
Python, Maya API, Motionbuilder API (bonus)
Ability to take direction and find creative solutions during the iterative process.
Knowledge of Motionbuilder API, Shotgrid, Substance Design & Painter is an asset.
