Position: Engineering ManagerAs an Engineering Manager at Data Theorem, you will be responsible for leading and shaping our engineering team, ensuring timely delivery of new features. You'll manage and grow a team of engineers, collaborate with our leadership and customers, and orchestrate the release of new features from initial planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and designers to ensure the execution and release of new customer-facing features, while keeping stakeholders informed about project status and timeline.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, helping to develop their careers with the right projects and feedback, and removing any roadblocks that get in their way.
- Empower the engineering team to achieve a high level of technical productivity and quality by developing norms, tools, and processes, and ensuring they are followed within the team.
- Recruit a diverse team of engineers that are among the best in the industry, from outreach through close.
- Collaborate with other departments, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Guide the development process and ensure best practices are followed, including agile methodologies and software development principles.
- Continuously assess team performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve productivity and quality.
- Manage resource allocation, ensuring that the team is appropriately staffed and that resources are effectively utilized.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software development, including 4+ years of experience managing a team. Strong technical background, with experience in software development and architecture. Experience with agile methodologies and software development principles. Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong recruiting skills, with a track record of hiring new team members who are extremely effective over the long term.
