Your primary mission will be to manage indoor environmental quality projects. The Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) group provides consulting services for a variety of projects including fire and smoke damage, indoor air quality, infection control, LEED and WELL certifications, mould and water damage, and radon services.

You will be running various projects throughout BC in the commercial real estate, institutional and industrial industries. Pinchin is a proven leader and has a strong record in managing and completing projects. We work with many national, regional, and local clients to provide effective and efficient solutions and go beyond our Client’s expectation to provide valuable solutions to their unique environmental, health and safety projects.

Summary of Responsibilities

Project Managers in the Indoor Environmental Quality group will provide consulting services for various projects, including fire and smoke damage, indoor air quality, infection control, LEED and WELL certifications, mould and water damage, and radon.

A day in the life of a Project Manager in Pinchin:

  1. Prepare proposals
  2. Supervise and perform assessments and remediation work
  3. Manage work in progress, accounts receivable, and invoicing
  4. Develop business relationships with both new and existing clients
  5. Supervise, train and mentor Project Technologists in their job functions
  6. Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
What you bring to the Pinchin team

Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience as a project manager in a related industry

Professional designation (EP, AScT, CSRP, ROH, ROHT, PMP) an asset

Familiarity with building systems: structure, envelope, HVAC etc. an asset

Familiar with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Strong interpersonal, presentation and team building skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Vehicle and valid driver's license (work-related travel expenses are compensated)

Availability to travel

Availability to work outside normal business hours as required
