Litigation Law Clerk – Mortgage Enforcement - Full-time We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented to join our Mortgage Enforcement Department on a full-time basis. Responsibilities Include: · preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents (including demand letters, arrears letters, payout letters, notices of sale, statements of claim, default judgments, motion records, etc.; · service and filing of court documents through court portals or as otherwise required; · daily file management through all stages of the legal process; · working with various programs (including Case Master Pro, ACL, PC Law and various client systems); · communicating with clients and opposing parties; · other duties as required and assigned. Qualifications: · 2-4 years of experience working as a Law Clerk in a related practice area is preferred · College Diploma/University Degree in a relevant field is a must; · proficiency in MS Office applications; · excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure; · ability to work both independently and collaboratively; · professional, friendly demeanor with a strong ability to build productive relationships; · strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure; · satisfactory criminal records check will be required from the selected candidate as a condition of employment.
