Reporting to the Director, Fusion Threat Intelligence, the Senior Analyst, Fusion Threat Intelligence is responsible for operational intelligence collection, analysis, and production which discerns trends beyond the tactical and makes linkages to the external threat environment, strengthening assessments and providing recommendations which directly support intelligence end-users across the Information Security, Corporate Security, and Fraud Management domains. The Senior Analyst leverages broad knowledge and experience of specialized intelligence methodologies to advance and enrich the intelligence program, support more junior team members and deliver viable collection solutions to complex threat scenarios related to cyber, fraud, and security issues.
Fusion Threat Intelligence is responsible for operational and strategic level intelligence collection, analysis, and production which discerns trends beyond the tactical and makes linkages to the external threat environment, strengthening assessments and providing recommendations which directly support intelligence end-users across the Information Security, Corporate Security, and Fraud Management domains.
You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
Intelligence Cycle Expertise – Provide specialized advice, consultation, and analysis on intelligence issues and trends relating to cybersecurity, fraud, and corporate security, including in support of incidents, investigations and other Fusion use cases. Complete operational and strategic level analysis that captures high-level analytical insights and produce concise intelligence briefings meeting consumer needs; Provide expert advice/consultation to senior management on designing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining the intelligence cycle to inform and aid the protection assets, information, and people.
Relationship Building – Develop and manage relationships with management and business leaders, including guiding collaboration with security pillars; providing knowledge of intelligence best practices and advanced collection and analysis techniques.
Support to Key Stakeholders – Support complex incidents and investigations as an intelligence practitioner. Undertake special projects with internal and external stakeholders, as assigned / required.
Strategic Thinking Approach – Provide support to Fusion Centre management, team members and peers as required to support delivery of Fusion Threat Intelligence programs.

Leadership and Team Player – Contribute to the development of intelligence analysts within the Fusion Threat Intelligence team and a healthy work environment. You must also have experience with Threat Actors and Attack Techniques and be to date knowledge of threat actors and current attack techniques and a passion for thinking like an attacker. It’s an asset if you currently have or previously held a Government of Canada security clearance at the Secret or Top Secret level. You can also demonstrate enhanced analytical capabilities sufficient to oversee broad intelligence analysis, including the review of draft products to validate accuracy and reliability and ensure outputs provide appropriate insights and recommendations. It’s an asset if you have an information security certification – CISSP, CISM, or equivalent work experience along with the working knowledge of various public and private cyber security organizations and entities and how they work together.
