Founded in Tokyo in 1997 as an online marketplace, Rakuten has expanded to offer services in e-commerce, fintech, digital content and communications to approximately 1.Manages the identification, creation, and management of key-account/business relationships with select companies to develop solutions and/or create complementary products/services to produce sales opportunities for the company.
Creates partner plan to meet business targets.
Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement. Management & Supervision :
Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management. Interacts with senior management, executives, and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization. Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.
Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness. Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
