About the Role

We are looking for a Digital Merchandising Manager to join our Omni Digital Experience team. The Digital Merchandising Manager will develop and execute the digital merchandising strategy and will be the key driver in the overall performance of categories that are on the eCommerce OCS.ca website (B2C) and retailer wholesale portal (B2B).

In this role, as a Digital Merchandising Manager, you will work cross-functionally with other departments (including Channel Strategy & Customer Relationship Management, Omni Channel Customer Service) in order to bring category strategies to life in the digital space and optimize the path to purchase experience for both customers & consumers. You will own and manage the digital merchandising calendar along with navigation elements, curated product collections, product information pages, product listing pages, filters, on-site search, and digital activations.

About Your Day

  • Manage the digital merchandising strategy for both B2C & B2B and the points at which they intersect
  • Develop & maintain digital merchandising events calendar to ensure alignment with business partners (for example, category, merchandising planning, wholesale and content teams)
  • Develop category experience strategies along with managing and executing them in partnership with various teams
  • Utilize consumer insights, market trends & competitor analysis to recommend the ideal category shopping experience online
  • Conduct category performance analysis (OCS.ca) to identify key revenue drivers and track progress Year- over- year (YOY), Quarter- on- quarter (QOQ), and Month- Over- Month
  • Evaluate existing processes & partner with various internal teams to optimize
  • Manage & maintain site taxonomy on both B2C & B2B platforms
  • Drive product and collection engagement focused on the following ecommerce KPIs: collection pageviews, path-to-product conversion, add-to-cart conversion (shared KPI), on-site search conversion, and product recommendations conversion
  • Ensure new products, product categories, and collections are accurately merchandized with the correct data attributes and that the presentation of all products meet the expectations of OCS, customers, and Health Canada
  • Manage & maintain on-site search and make adjustments to improve findability for customers & consumers, by understanding search behavior and keywords/queries
  • Maintain presentation of online product assortment: product descriptions, images, categories, etc.
  • Conduct bi-annual experience audit of core categories to highlight digital merchandising opportunities and optimize accordingly
  • Establish category style guides and consistent approaches to digital merchandising for B2C & B2B products
  • Lead a team of digital merchandising professionals to deliver a frictionless customer experience

About You

  • Completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Merchandising or related field of study AND/OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Google Analytics Certification is an asset
  • 5+ years in digital merchandising and/or e-commerce with 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills
  • Well organized & detail oriented
  • Ability to adjust and adapt communication style to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to collaborate well with others & high level of diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of foundational user experience principles
  • Demonstrated people management skills

About the Job

  • This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge Street. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.
